“So many people think that all there is to church is just taking their place in a seat. But there is so much more than that to being a follower of Christ. That’s where life groups enter the picture. No matter what size church, the believers that make up that church need a place where they feel connected to God and other people. Life groups provide a place where people can “do life” together. Being involved in a life group gives Christians the opportunity to encourage one another and remind each other that each of us matters to God. It also provides a group of people who will comfort us when we face tough times in our lives. Life groups also give us a source of accountability that helps us be who God desires for us to be in Jesus Christ. Here at Gateway, our life groups are the foundation where spiritual depth and growth begin. It’s my prayer that this site will encourage you if you are currently a life group member or leader. If you’re not involved in a group, I hope this site will instill a desire in you to join a group or at least seek out some more information. Don’t hesitate to contact me if I can help you any way.”
